Good Thinkers Organization (GTO) is a rights based advocacy and development organization working in Pakistan since 2003. We believe in a society where everyone enjoys equal rights, justice and opportunity. We bring change through better laws, stronger institutions and active communities.

Children are at the heart of our work. We also stand with women, transgender persons, persons with disabilities and minorities. We work in five areas: Child Rights and Protection, Women’s Rights and Gender Equality, Inclusion and Equal Rights, Climate Action, Environment and Resilience, and Rule of Law and Democratic Governance.

Policy and law reform is our key strength. We work closely with legislators and government departments, providing research, technical input and community voices to strengthen laws on child protection, women’s rights and the rights of transgender persons. We also helped more than 51,000 women get their identity cards and register as voters.

We work with government, civil society and partners such as the Commonwealth Foundation, Ignite Philanthropy, Gilead Sciences and the Australian High Commission. Together, we work for a Pakistan where every person is valued, safe and free.
